Communications: Admin and Coordination Project Leadership

Ingrid Tagwireyi is a communications expert with cross-cutting experience within the United Nations and non-governmental organisations (NGOs). She holds a Masters in Social Policy and Management from the University of Cape Town. She has 13 years of experience in the development sector with expertise in knowledge management, communications and media. Her work has also included producing radio and TV programmes, including radio spots and youth programmes and coordinating high level events. She has experience in advocacy for sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR) as well as HIV.

Her passion is to develop Africa through development endeavours at various levels i.e. policy, community engagement programmes, advocacy, etc., to ensure Africa thrives in its richness and becomes a well-developed continent. Ingrid believes in Mahatma Gandhi’s words: “You must be the change you wish to see in the world.”
