Perrykent is a Project Strategist trained in diplomatic practice, protocol, and public relations at the Zambia Institute of Diplomacy and International Studies. He has over ten years of experience working with different Civil Society Organisations. His track record traces back to 2013, when he championed the rights of children and youth as a young activist and Ambassador for UNICEF, Save the Children International, and the Media Network on Child Rights and Development. He worked with youth-focused organisations and national media institutions to advocate for meaningful youth engagement in national governance and political spaces. In 2023, he led a groundbreaking community-led monitoring intervention, “Ports2Arms”, which was tested in seven African Countries, including Malawi, Rwanda, Burundi, DRC, South Africa, Egypt and Zambia. Perrykent serves as the youngest board member on the Regional Board of Directors for the SRHR Africa Trust (SAT). He is currently leading work around networks and movements of civil society organisations from across the African continent to ensure equitable vaccine access for all through community leadership.
