Provincial Monitor (Limpopo and Mpumalanga)

Nikiwe Mabuzaa holds a Diploma in general nursing, midwifery, community and psychiatry, she persuades a career in public health due to her passion for disease prevention and improving the health and life expectancy of people and communities she does so by advocating for health equity,as she strongly believes that the distribution of health resources between different population groups should be equal.

 

Nikiwe has served primarily in the HIV/AIDS, TB, STI and GBV projects. She has been responsible for monitoring and evaluation of HIV testing services, conducting training in the aspects of quality assurance and quality improvement, conducting site assessments for national certification of CBOs. She has also had the opportunity to spearhead the PrEP rollout and implementation in Limpopo Capricorn district in2020.She is accomplished with diverse experience and functionality which includes project development, advocacy, corporate training, project management, fund raising and implementation.

 

Nikiwe is a youth life couch and helps young people fine their purpose in life. she gives back to the community by visiting schools to educate young people about health issues, particularly HIV prevention and management and GBV recently also known as IPV.

 

Nikiwe is a Provincial Monitor in a project at African Alliance that supports Community & Individual Ownership of The National COVID-19 Vaccine Rollout through District & Provincial Community-Led Monitoring and Accountability Tracking
